Studio policies
Every policy here exists to give as much consideration as possible to all of our guests and stylists. We’re a small studio, our income depends entirely on booked chairs, so we ask for a little notice, and we promise the same respect for your time in return. Thank you for understanding.
Booking & deposits
Every appointment is secured with a non-refundable $50 deposit. It’s applied to your balance at checkout, or, if you’d like, we can hold it to pre-book your next visit.
Rescheduling & cancellations
72 hours out, we send appointment reminders by email and text 72 hours before your appointment. If you need to reschedule, text our direct line at that point and we’ll happily move your deposit to the new appointment.
Under 48 hours, rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice means the existing deposit is forfeited, and a new $50 deposit secures the new time.
Under 24 hours / same day, the deposit can no longer be applied to your balance, and you’ll be charged 50% of the estimated service total. That charge can still go toward your next appointment if you rebook within two weeks.
Emergencies happen and we allow for grace. Life is sometimes simply out of your control, and each situation is considered on its own. We only ask for the same consideration in return; if unforeseen circumstances become a pattern, we’ll talk about it one on one.
No-shows
A no-show is when the appointment time passes with no attempt to reach us. No-shows are charged 100% of the estimated service cost before any future appointment can be booked, and after two recorded no-shows we unfortunately can’t book with you again.
Adjustments & refunds
We do not refund services, but we absolutely want you to love your hair. Some looks take multiple sessions to reach their full result, and we’ll always be honest about that up front. If your cut or color needs a minor adjustment, contact the studio within one week of your service and we’ll get you back in the chair.
Color services & your clothing
We provide gowns and capes for every chemical and color service, and we strongly recommend hanging up your shirt before the gown goes on. Color work involves many rounds of application and rinsing, and run-off can find its way past every layer of protection. Wearing the gown over your clothing is at your own discretion, the studio isn’t liable for stains or marks that may occur during your appointment.
Service fee
A $5 service fee is added at checkout (effective February 2, 2023).
